Team Sponsorships

As a not for profit organization the mission of the BNBA is to provide an organized affordable baseball program for
youth ages five to eighteen in the Bloomington-Normal area. The management of costs associated with opporating
the program is accomplished through participation fees, private sponsorships, facility access through local
communities, schools and business, and with the assistance of volunteers that include board members, coaches,
parents, and players associated with the program. Our organization relies heavily on the generosity and cooperation
of these local businesses, governments, and school districts. With their cooperation, BNBA has access to 25-30 fields.

Sponsorship funds are used to subsidized families who cannot afford the cost of registration fees, and to purchase
capital equipment and material to operate our program. Our scholarship program has been renamed the
Michael Brown Memorial Scholarship fund, and gives out thousands in scholarship funds to families who, for what
ever reason, are experiencing financial distress.

Although Covid decreased the number of participants in 2020 and 2021, those numbers are on the rise.
Typically BNBA accomodates 750 to 800 participants, and those numbers were increasing before Covid. Because
of this, our program is in a greater need for funds. Please join our effort to provide all youth the opportunity to
play baseball regardless of their skill level, financial ability, and where it will not compromise the safety, or well
being of the participant. The end goal of our organization is to provide each player the opportunity to enhance
their baseball skills and knowledge, instill sportsmanship and respect, establish lasting friendships, and that the
overall BNBA experience will be a positive influence a player will carry into all areas of life beyond the baseball field.

If you do not wish to sponsor a team, we take donations of any amount.
